The artwork is interesting, although admittedly my mental pictures of some of the characters don't match up with those shown here. Friends and I have had fun arguing whether or not various characters and/or situations really match up to the card they're used for. The deck can also be used for a card game. I haven't used it for such so can't say anything about how good it is or not. A decent deck to use for readings. If you're a LOTR fan you'll probably enjoy it even more than someone who isn't.
