They have to start giving these exoplanets colorful names...except there are so many of them, I guess they're waiting until some prove to have some superseding significance
The first song sets the wheel in motion / The second is a song of love / The third song tells of Her devotion / The fourth cries joy from the sky above
The fifth song binds our fate to silence / and bids us live each moment well / The sixth unleashes rage and violence / The seventh song has truth to tell
The last song echoes through the ages / to ask its question all night long / And close the circle on these pages / These, the metamythos songs

Every time a planet is found in the habitable zone I get excited.  I'm so happy to live in a time where we're capable of finding so many exoplanets.  Science!

Kepler holds a special place in my heart.  I was lucky enough to have a tour of the Ball Aerospace facility as part of my satellite meteorology course and saw Kepler as they were finishing building it.

The meteorology of other planets fascinates me.  I was scared away though because I wanted to be able to find a steady job.  It's just not a big field, and one that relies heavily on funding for the sake of scientific discovery, which is much harder to come by than funding that can quickly give earth-based applications.

Thank you for sharing!

And even then, we need to be a little careful ...
Can you imagine the diplomatic SNAFU if the leader of some multi-stellar empire found out we had named his home world after Mickey Mouse ... Or Goofy??

If it doesn't make quick profits, the financial people aren't interested.

OTOH, I looked at custom car building the same way: In the 80's, it looked like a dead field, but it's big business now
