So what are you reading?
So what are you all reading Heathenry-wise? Is it good? Readable? Hard work? Helpful? Waste of good paper?
Use the amazon book link thingy if you can.

Re: So what are you reading?
I'm slowly reading Stephen Pollington's The Mead Hall: Feasting in Anglo-Saxon England. Slowly because I'm lazy and spend way too much time on the net/knitting/other stuff or too tired to read anything requiring brain input. However it's a really good read, he writes well and readably unlike some academic authors. I'd recommend anything he's written TBH and he's a good speaker too.

I'm reading this: Myths and Symbols in Pagan Europe by HR Ellis Davidson.
This is an excellent book.I am the Goddess of Who I can Become. I mix the magic of the sorceress with the blade of a warrior. I walk the liminal pathways to see the face of the Goddess, both terrible and kind. As She stares back at me, I tremble in awe and ecstasy. --SatAset

I really enjoyed Gods and Myths of Northern Europe which is the only one of hers I've read so far. She's a really good writer.

Re: So what are you reading?
I am reading The Sagas of Icelanders and it's pretty good. I am on the second saga (Saga of the People of Vatnsdal). I got my copy second hand and even for full cover price it's an amazing deal. The intro alone was nearly enough to make it worth buying, probably because I didn't know all that much to begin with
