Can I suggest the second, inspired-by-threads-and-discussion-here theme for the month?

Inspired by this thread, I suggest Burial Practices and the Afterlife. I'm thinking either ancient or modern, but especially the connections between the two.

Were you thinking this month or next month? (I assume it's the former, but just want to make sure) I think it's a good idea. :)

I still have not written anything up for this month's themes, although I've had some ideas. Need to get working on that ...

I thought we still needed a second theme for this month.  But it can be next month if that's better!

For January the monthly topic will be:
Resolutions, Habits, New Beginnings

Anything goes: Do you make New Year's resolutions? How do you deal with bad habits? What does your path require you to adapt as habits? How hard is it? How do you trick yourself into doing it? Do your gods want you to let go of bad habits? Why they are bad?....

You see, a lot of different things to write about. Just do as many or as few posts as you like and let us know the link to your post here.

Also: Any suggestions for a Thread of the Month?

The on-going discussion for the theme of the month should happen here, I guess. Or it would just over-run this thread.

Picking the current thread of the month, is a short-notice thing and would be better placed here.

Thoughts?

better late than never I guess but here's my very belated post for jan :

Thanks for joining, Kyndyl!

I finally got my April post up, and there will only be the one as I still need time to process my other thinky thoughts on the language thing. So here's Learning the language, a post where I'm thinking about why we don't use ancient Egyptian language in Kemeticism, and starting up a challenge asking people to learn a couple of words this year, and why that's important.

I am interested in participating in TCBP on my blog. What do you guys think the topic for May should be?

Hi Djaty! Oh right, it is May, isn't it. Actually early on in March we had moved a Spring theme to May since it seemed more seasonably appropriate, so May's themes are: "Fertility, Abundance, and Growth"! Do you think that is something you can work with?

Also, you are more than welcome to write the previous monthly themes as well (as well as anyone reading this now or in the future)!

Yes, I can work with that. I am going to change my blog's appearance a bit and then work on a post. The link will be shared with everybody here.

Thanks for the reply, Nyktipolos. :)

I'm catching up on the April topics. Here's the first, on death and burial.

I'm behind too- I have a bunch of posts I want to get done.

Does anyone have suggestions for the June topic?

Can we ironically choose "getting behind"?

I'm not even doing TCBP, but no one else has picked up on this and I can't resist:

This might be the most appropriate theme to date, since I haven't posted to my blog in two months.  Procrastination isn't a problem, it's a life style.  :p
