Darkfever by Karen Marie Morning: Seelie faes, Unseelie faes, a seer who is able to see both, a murder to investigate and a forbidden book that both Fae courts are 'hunting' by any means necessary.
I am just at the beginning but i am really loving it so far.
I even like that the female lead is not the classic tough girl but rises to the occasion with the determination and strenght all the same.“Sometimes you wake up. Sometimes the fall kills you. And sometimes, when you fall, you fly.” ― Neil Gaiman *

Carpathia by Matt Forbeck (ebook on Kindle, from Amazon). The Titanic sinks, the Carpathia is the first rescue ship to arrive--but talk about frying pans and fires. Hee hee hee. Makes me wonder why no one thought of this before, really--but I'm glad it was my friend Matt who did, and ran with it.
"The Eightfold Path is sometimes called the pathless path. Each step brings a growing awareness that enlightenment is in the here and now--in the world and in our relationships as we read these words . . . now." -- Jonathan White

Global Woman: Nannies, Maids, and Sex Workers in the New Economy. I'm finding the essays really interesting.

Re: What Are You Reading Now?
I just finished The Night Circus by Ering Morgenstern and i was so awed that I had to pout it all, right away, in a review for that witchy reading challenge I am partecipating in:

It was just too many feelings and TOO MUCH EVERYTHING...that writing style killed me... so evocative and melanchonic.“Sometimes you wake up. Sometimes the fall kills you. And sometimes, when you fall, you fly.” ― Neil Gaiman *

Re: What Are You Reading Now?
I'm almost finished reading The Stepsister Scheme by Jim C. Hines. I'm thinking I might start The Way of the Oracle: Recovering the Practices of the Past to Find Answers for Today by Diana Paxson, but I also have these on my to read list:
Divergent by Veronica Roth
The Spindle Hearth: A Sourcebook for Goddess-Centered Living by d. Kate dooley
Living With Ghosts by Kari Sperring
Maledicte and Assassins of Kings by Lane Robins (still!)
and the entire Song of the Lioness Quartet by Tamora Pierce
