Re: There, I said it!
Thank you for the hugs, everyone. It meant so much to sign in and see all the posts of support.
Thank you both.
I probably should have mentioned his book is non-fiction, so they are totally different genres (mine is epic fantasy fiction). I still think that's no excuse to have glaring grammatical errors on every page.
At least I know he knows what he's talking about with the book subject. That's a small consolation. (It's about fixing stuff, DIY household stuff, etc.)
If he'd asked me for help, editing services, publishing services, whatever, or even just had the common decency to publish his book after mine came out, I'd probably feel a lot better. As it is it just feels like a slap in the face.
<3 Your crack cookies make everything better. (I sadly ran out the other day.)
I would love if you would send me a package of cookies and whatever else! Especially the cookies.... But I don't want your own funds/supplies to run low, so please don't put yourself out on my behalf.
At any rate, I'll send you a PM with my mom's address (I'm moving to her place at the end of the month), and then whichever way you decide you'll have the safer address to use.

People I live with.
I am tired of having to hear you constantly yell at each other. Please shut the fuck up. And youngest pain in the ass, you slipped and hurt yourself. Two of us are in near constant physical pain and we suck it up and deal with it. If you even noticed people other than yourself you would know that you have none of our sympathy.
TISI and it felt good for once!

I wanna send cookies too!
Dear fuckers who dumped the poor little orange and white kitten out in front of my dad's workplace,
Fuck you. This poor little guy didn't do anything to you. He's sweet, he's beautiful, he's barely old enough to be away from his mama, and you know what? Now he's mine. And he's going to have a better life than scumwads like you could ever give a pet. Canned food and all the snuggles he could possibly want. So up yours, shit-for-brains. He's getting the last laugh after all.

Re: There, I said it!
Dear friend I'm reconnected with from high school after 15+ years:
I'm really not sure how to tell you how to deal with your man problems. As a guy that does the same kind of work as your boyfriend, I can only give you SOME insight, I do not know what is going through this guy's head as I have never met him, and therefore I know I'm only getting 50% of the story. That said, you know he is gone a lot, and you know he is flirty. You said you have trust issues. Do you not see that these are issues that will probably get worse with time? If you are assuming he's cheating and he's not, you giving him the 3rd degree might very well push him to do so.
From what I can tell, you might be smothering him and the fact that he's not wanting to talk to you, and you might be really pissing him off with some of the emotion games your playing. For gods' sake, you're 35, like I am! Is it not time to stop that kind of behavior? A lot of us guys (myself included) are not huge fans of talking on the phone for hours and hours and sending a shitload of text messages. Sometimes we may not respond because we either cannot because we're working, OR you are pushing things too hard and we don't tell you this because if we did it would be more far more hurtful than we intended.
I am going to start charging for future consultations. But as it stands right now, I think you two are going to be over and done with soon, and I am NOT going to put you back together again because I just do not have the energy as I have my own mountain of crap to resolve with my own life.
