(hanging this here but intending to acknowledge all the responses to my post)
I don't know what I did to deserve such wonderful and supportive online friends, but I'm very glad I did whatever it was. ,
Thank you all!
There...I said it.
(I'm sure the lump is going to turn out to be nothing important. It's just a little stressful in the meantime.)

'You had to repay, good or bad. There was more than one type of obligation.
That’s what people never really understood.….Things had to balance.
You couldn’t set out to be a good witch or a bad witch. It never worked out for long.
All you could try to be was a witch, as hard as you could.'
Terry Pratchett 'Lords and Ladies'
Confuzzled and proud.

Dear brain,
Could you PLEASE do a better job of keeping track of the vitally important shit? If I had been aware of the traffic ticket, I would have paid it, thus avoiding the whole scene today where the first I knew of a failure to appear and a suspended driver's license was when I got pulled over and threatened with arrest. Now instead of using my next paycheck to move, I have to use it to get my license back and/or hire an attorney. Thanks a lot. This information had to be in there somewhere. Kindly get yourself together before you get me in serious trouble.

Re: There, I said it!
Dear college A-holes,
I know you run a big company and that, as a company, you need to make money. I know that other colleges in the area got caught graduating students who didn't deserve it. But seriously; you've been so helpful the past two years! Why is it that I have to fight for everything right now, with just a few more weeks in the year? Suddenly things we'd agreed on together are 'forgotten', points I've already earned 'disappear' and getting to re-take a test I failed because you wouldn't let me take it in the first place because you can't get your affairs straight is turning out to be more difficult than the topic of the test?
If you don't give me a bit of leeway soon, I swear my head will explode! Believe it or not, I have far more important things to do than graduate.
There, I said it, here and to you over the phone, you brain dead, bureaucratic morons!

The Nightwalking Hedgehog
I make ceramic art and am currently taking commissions. Have dream altar ware you've always wanted, or a statue for a deity or spirit that you could never find? PM or email me and I'll see what I can do
