1. Determine whether Time Checks is something I want to actually work on, and if so whether I can have all the background work ready in time for NaNo11.
Current status: Striking the original goal for reasons previously described. I do not consider myself to have failed because I don't think reevaluating and deciding it's not a realistic goal at this time is failure.
But now I have a new idea, and I need to decide whether it's a viable one. There are several good arguments against it, but it's also something that might be a good exercise even if it doesn't produce anything I'd ever want to show anyone. If I do decide to go ahead with it, the timing may possibly be right to do it for NaNoWriMo, so I need to decide about that too.
2. Read The Mindful Way Through Depression (recommended to me as being good for stress relief too) and evaluate further goals for mental/emotional well-being based on the suggestions contained therein. (Or, if I decide it's unhelpful, come up with other such goals on my own.)
Current status: Past the halfway point. I'm beginning to get a little bit frustrated with parts of it, but overall I think the general idea is helpful. Haven't really done a lot of the exercises, but they seem helpful.
3. Finish knitting pseudo-project. (I started just to get a feel for knitting, with nothing in particular in mind; I think it's becoming a scarf. Maybe a shortish one. Maybe it's for Natalie?)
Current status: Still in progress.Last edited by Star; 14 Jul 2011 at 08:06 PM. Reason: Trying to do strikethrough of old goal, failing, settling for just deleting it.

Re: Life's To Do List - 2011 Season 3
Update time!
01. Finish coursework. (Seriously, this has to get done.)
I have 1,852 pages left- I did 88 this week. Not as much as I could have done, but better than nothing!
02. Get a transcription job.
03. Read 2 books off the Religious shelf and post notes/thoughts on blog.
04. Read 2 books off the Fiction shelf & 2 from the Non-Fiction shelf.
I read Pyramids by Terry Pratchett, for I'm 2 of 2 for fiction, 0 of 2 for non.
05. Learn how to ride the damn bike.
06. Finish 2 beaded pieces.
I'm 56 rows into the purple/pink bracelet. Out of 100 or so.
07. Photograph pots for etsy.
08. Write, damnit. (1k a month would be great.)
I...have not written a word since my last update. :/
09. Develop habit of weekday exercise.
This has been totally sporadic thanks to the heat.
10. Figure out what the hell I'm doing wrong wrt religious cycle and fix it.
I think my problem was twofold: one, overthinking it and two, trying to jump in full blast. I've simplified and I'm going to be adding one day each cycle.

Shoot, is it that time again?
- Reduce debt by 10%. - Work in progress.
- Finish the new quilt. - Also a WIP.
- Decide what to write for NaNoWriMo. - Done!
- Post weekly to Etsy & Artfire. - WIP. Hmm, may need to make a change to this, as it seems Artfire is making major changes to their set-up. I may not be vending there much longer.
- Harvest herbs from garden as needed. - WIP.
- Post a dozen entries to spirituality blog. - Squee, this is done. I've set up and scheduled posts for the rest of the summer. I'm sure I'll have more to say than that, but the minimum is done!
- Walk and/or run at least five miles per week. - Maybe I need to revamp this to 3 miles per week, since that's what I'm averaging right now.
- Hit daily step count goals. - WIP.
- Read three books for pleasure. - Done!
- Work on the next 101 in 1001 list. -Done!
- Attend at least one 'write-in'. - Done!
- Write outline for NaNoWriMo. -WIP.
- Make a personal incense blend. -Done!
- Plan fall road trip. - WIP.

1. Go out for a walk at least three times a week. Preferably for a minimum of half an hour. --I've been keeping up with this pretty well. I'm walking at least four or five times a week. Woo!
2. Finish reading Portrait of a Priestess before I have to take it back to the library. --Started, but I have to get it renewed.
3. Start and complete at least one art piece by the end of the season. --Haven't started yet.
4. Set up a permanent Brighid altar. --Haven't started yet.
5. Purchase the laptop for school. --Haven't started yet.
6. Begin working through Evolutionary Witchcraft. --Haven't started yet, beyond a list. I'm starting to remember why Feri didn't work the first time around... ergh.
7. Practice tarot. --I think I'll start doing spreads for the Divination Exchange, as I got nada from Tumblr.
