Did you like it? Dislike it?
    'X-Men: First Class'

I'm not usually that big a fan of X-Men films; I find I can never really get into them when they're on TV and I end up leaving to do something else about half way through.
But I seriously loved this one! And the cast was excellent...Michael Fassbender and James McAvoy - ooooh god yes. They made that movie so brilliant to watch.
...(as well as the homoerotic subtext - the amount of fangirl squealing during that film... myself included )

I had to share. My sister is reading A Game of Thrones and sent this to me.

The last movie I saw in the theater was Alice in Wonderland. I don't go out much.

How was that? I was slightly curious to see it, but not enough, in the end, to actually go see it.

Last night I saw Cowboys & Aliens. Han Solo and the new Bond--I couldn't resist.

I just saw Captain America today. Wouldn't have seen it until it was on DVD, but my dad wanted to see it and needed me to explain all the comic book stuff to him. And since he was paying, why not?

I liked it and thought it was pretty good. Actually, there's not really anything I didn't like about it. I think I was far more excited about the Avengers trailer at the end (Hawkeye!) but the movie was still good.

It's really good! I thought that I'd hate it, but it was so beautifully and brilliantly done.

Tree of life, with Brad Pitt and some other guy (presumably.)
It was horrendous. We gave up on it after 45 minutes of psychedelic images, sometimes interrupted with wispered 'meaningful' statements, and an animated dinosaur (that one did it for me, there is nothing that can excuse animated dinosaurs.)
We left, and in those 45 minutes we've seen Brad Pitt about ten seconds and the some other guy for 15 secs and I never know if there ever was some story or dialogue to emerge after that.

I can't believe it's been 25 years since "Goonies" came out.

Just saw "Rise of the Planet of the Apes". Pretty good; I was really rooting for Caesar (the chimp).

I've been on the fence about seeing that. I've heard a lot of people say very good things about that movie. I HATED the Planet of the Apes movie that came out a few years ago, and was not much of a fan of the originals. But that one does look interesting nonetheless.

Insidious was the last film I saw at the cinema as well. I don't scare easily, am quite happy to watch horrors whilst at home at night alone, but this film did scare me. I really enjoyed it.
