What's the latest movie you've seen in the theaters?

I don't go to theaters anymore. To much money and people don't know how to shut up.

Hah, you need to go there on the right evening.
Yesterday was some sport stuff happening and we were alone in our seat row and I guess only about 6 or 7 other people were there with us.

Oh, you guys make me sad, I wanted to see Snowhite, but if it is that 'meh', I can wait till it is out on rental.

We saw MIB3 last night.
Nothing really spectacular, but solidly made and funny in parts.
It was an absolute OK+ for me. (Means, glad we didn't spend the evening only on the homely couch and got our butts up and I am not sorry about the ticket money.)

Good idea. I tend to do that- find out for myself if I like it or not. I'm not doing too well right now though. Out of the last 3 films I've been to see at the cinema, I've only really enjoyed 1 of them. The odds need to start improving here!

I try to only go see movies in theatres if I am mostly confident I'll like them or one of the actors or the script. Otherwise - until DVD it is!

Just saw The Avengers for the second time last night, and right now I have plans to see it again on Saturday haha.

When I went, though, I was reminded of how many movies are coming out this year that I need to see! I'm going to be broke...

I know the feeling! I just had high hopes for Dark Shadows and Snow White. Oh well, roll on the next film! (sorry, pun not intended but I'll leave it in anyway)

What is the latest movie you've seen in the theaters? (As opposed to popping a DVD/video cassette into the machine, catching it on cable, downloading and watching on iTunes/other subscription service.)

To start, I saw X-Men: First Class last weekend, and liked it. (Interesting tangents on the stuff I remember reading ages ago.)

This morning, I saw Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2 and loved it. A couple little quibbles about how they dealt with certain (relatively minor) points, but very enjoyable. And I did not see it in 3-D.

I went to see Prometheus last night with my boyfriend. He's an aliens fan and was a little disapponted by it, but I loved it! I might go see it again with my dad since he's a Ridley Scott fan.

I predicted at least three things that would happen in the movie due to my knowledge of mythology/fairy-tales, which didn't detract from my experience at all. The landscapes and architecture were fantastic, as usual, and I'm willing to overlook the kilts and Clydesdale horses. XD

I went to see Rock of ages last weekend- what a fantastic film! Absolutely brilliant- loved every minute, but definately not for children! No actual nudity or sex but lots of innuendo and suggestion. Keeps you laughing from start to finish
