    New!

Although I am rather atheist, there's still something about paganism, about skulls, bones, crystals, full moons, fire, candles....something about them still pulls at me in some ways. I don't know if anyone else is 'atheist' so to say, but I intend to be fully polite and nonargumentive. I am mostly a lurker anyway.

Welcome! You can be an atheist Pagan. I was for many years. (Sometimes I still feel agnostic. I think that's just in my personality.) Many branches of Paganism are about actions and their results, not really the beliefs behind them.
Check out Elysian Harvest, the business I run with my friend. I do jewelry, she does ceramics, we both do awesome.

The only thing is, I absolutely do not believe in an afterlife. That does not seem to fit in with any path at all that I've seen.

*shrugs* a lot of paths have lip service to afterlife, but there's not a *this must be true* contingent.

Personally I figure I'll find out when I get there. Or, if there's nothing, not.

Neither do I! Another thing is that a lot of Pagan paths don't have a checklist of beliefs. You are totally allowed to be a Pagan and view mythology as just that: mythology, metaphor, ancient world literature. Valhalla and Elysium and the Isle of Apples? They're part of that metaphor too.

Mostly atheist, here, with no interest (and thus, no belief) in an afterlife. We're actually pretty common.

Hi! I'm new too. I do believe in something after death, but my beliefs keep growing, changing and evolving. I welcome hearing your thoughts and whatnot!
I'm a white witch... but only between Memorial and Labor Day.
