Does anybody know if there is any kind of spiritual path that centers around Mother Earth? I have heard of the Gaia hypothesis and philosophy but is there any sort of path out there that embraces "Gaia" or "The Earth Mother" or whatever you wish to call her as a major part of their religious practice?

Check out The Church of All Worlds it is based on Science Fiction books by Robert Heinlein which is where some of the Gaia Theory came from. Maybe check out Oberon Zell as well as i think he was part of the begianing of it as an organization.

Tim Zell and a couple of his friends started a "Water Sharing" group back in their college days based on the section where Michael Vantentine Smith (main character of 'Stranger in a Strange Land') set up a religious organization. The group broke up, but a few people heard of it, thought it was a good thing, got hold of Tim and that's when 'Church of All Worlds' started

Tim changed his name several times over the years and is now known as Oberon

Thanks for the lesson! i was just trying to give a place to start searching from on Gaia Worship. I am sure there are other groups that are centered on her as well. I enjoy hearing stories of how it was back when!
