Re: Black Alchemy Labs and esoteric oil blenders?
Thank you for the links. You have officially cost me another 15% of my life. And the main problem with buying Imps is that there are so many choices. My minimum list of "WANT THIS" fragrances is at least ten.
I'd especially love to get some of The Last Unicorn's scents. That was how I discovered this in the first place. Then I started looking at everything else, and I just sighed and started saving up money."The sadness, the doubt, all the loss, the grief, will belong to some play from the past; as the child leads the way to a dream, a belief, a time of hope through the land." -Ilse (Spring Awakening)
My blog. 40% normal, 60% spiritual, 500% details.

Oh, thank you kindly, but I've got passels of BPAL (at least by my standards...probably too much). I actually prefer a long wishlist because I enjoy participating in the Switch Witch swaps over at BPAL.org. It gives potential swappees something to work with.

ETA: I take it back. I'd love to swap for the Rappiccini's Greenhouse Room Spray. You got a wishlist I can peruse?Last edited by yewberry; 7 Jun 2012 at 04:57 PM. Reason: See ETA

Re: Black Alchemy Labs and esoteric oil blenders?
I remember that 'overwhelmed by choice' feeling! I still feel it every time there's a new LE series release, too
I've not tried many of the Last Unicorn myself - the downside of an 'unimpable' series (and I missed the decant rounds).
But post your want list in the group -- and this goes for anyone who has a want list, long or short -- I am seriously drowning in imps and am happy to pass some on if I have something you'd like to try.

Oh no, you had to go and link - I'd forgotten about sinandsalvation, and I just spent too much on a BPAL order for the summer. Now I've gone and bought another heap of perfume.
I work at an essential oil store, I have a billion bottles of essential oil that I can get at a discount, but no, I have to be addicted to the wanky goth perfume. On the other hand, you'll pry my wanky goth perfume from my cold, dead hands.

Re: Black Alchemy Labs and esoteric oil blenders?
Haha! It reminds me of my BPAL phase. I spent almost $400 on the stuff before I realised this was a really good way to be poor. I still have about 20 full bottles in my home and on my last cleanout I discovered them again. I have to say 3yrs in the dust cupboard did a lot of them favours. I was a nut for the Asian Lupercalia scents and still have a full bottle of Tamano No Mae. I'm not very keen on her though.
It was a fun obsession but in a way I'm relieved my love affair with BPAL is over. Or at least my wallet is.
Despite my spend I never did find anything there that was love and I think that's what ended it for me. I felt like a search for the grail.
