A new type of divination?
So, I was meditating one day, and after much time, silence and concentration, sent myself into a shamanic trance. During this dream-like state, I met with a rather unusual spirit. It and I had quite a long conversation.
I told it that I was seeking guidance because I had tried many different divinary systems before, like Oracle cards, Tarot cards, Runes, etc, and none had worked for me very well if at all. I was becoming very frustrated. The only thing I was skilled at was pendulum scrying. But there's only so far a pendulum can take you.
From this quandry, this spirit granted me knowledge of a new divinary system that I have been unable to find anywhere. I've poured many hours into scouring the internet for similarities. It doesn't really have a name... I call it "seer stones" for lack of better word. There are a series of symbols with dual meanings, gold and silver, or positive and negative. Usually you lay them out in a cross-like pattern, representing the past present and future going horizontally and going vertical is what you need/want, how to get it and what the result will be, and also what you lost/need to avoid, how to get it back/avoid it, and what the result will be. Usually there are 9 stones laid down in total for a basic reading, but there are other configurations for a more specific question.
Some of the stone symbols include solar signs like the sun and moon, animals such as the shark, snake, bird and fox, weather like rain, storm and fog, plants like the flower and tree, and also man-made things like the road and bridge. There's a lot of them, I think about 25 in total?
Anyways, my question is that I'm wondering if this system sounds at all familiar to anyone? Has anyone encountered this collection of symbols? Please share any thoughts on the matter.

Re: A new type of divination?
They sound a bit like the weirdin that Charles de Lint invented for his novel Moonheart (alas, not much description there, nor as far as I can tell anywhere else on the 'Net, likely for reasons related to copyright - but it's described in quite a bit of detail in an appendix to the novel, if you can get hold of a copy [buy/borrow from library/borrow from friend]).
There are 61 of those, though, and I don't recall if they include any man-made things in their symbols - but they include several of the other sorts of symbols you mention, and are two-sided with many of the pairings being related/contrasting.

I did look into this- It does sound similar as far as the randomality goes, as you choose the stones at randome out of a bag. However, unlike both Cleromancy and Lithomancy, they are placed in specific patterns (much like Tatot cards) instead of tossed. Perhaps it is a sort of combination?

Re: A new type of divination?
Hold on a minute, don't just run out and buy this book. I was very interested in this divination method myself. I had read the book years ago, and remembered the Weirdin, I had even written the bones down somewhere. I couldn't find my notes, so I went to the book store and bought a copy of Moonheart. Apparently all editions do not have the appendix with the description in it. So before you buy the book, look to make sure it has the information in it.
