Problems Recovering From Some Respiratory Bug

Two weeks ago, I came down with some bug that I had for three days. I was running a temperature of about 100 degrees F, I was dehydrated, I had a bad cough along with a sore throat, and I had no appetite.

I still have the cough and lack of appetite. The cough is getting better day by day, but I still can't tell if I'm hungry or not. Anyone have any idea how to remedy this?

Check with a doc to make sure it is something that will pass?

Is your tree pollen going nutters out there? If so, getting out of that and into some climate controlled place might give you some relief. And if you put yourself on an eating schedule, it might not matter if you have an appetite.

Best to you. I hope it is just a passing illness.

This crud seems to be making the rounds in the PNW. I say eat a little even if you're not hungry (fruits and veggies are my favorites, as they tend not to contribute to the phlegm, and the fiber and water are great when you're already dehydrated), and try the Lime Cure--slice of lime, boiling water, nothing else. Drink in massive quantities. It's a pleasant way to get a lot of vitamin C and fluids, and it always just plain cheers me up.
