    Feeling the oneness of everything

I've been doing some reading on mindfulness, specifically dealing with spirituality and how they incorporate. I've also been digging deeper into paganism, trying to understand what it's all about, not just Wicca.

I was doing some reading today, but I got so engrossed by the words that I guess I had an epiphany. It was as if I could feel everything coming into one, like all of reality was one big pile of everything and it was all connected to the Goddess, God, etc or however you'd like to view divinity. Truly powerful.

Has anyone else experienced this, this awakening of some sort?

Once 21 years ago. For a brief moment, I was connected to everything. It was what got me out of hell, and I do not mean the cakewalk called Dante's Inferno.

not sure if i have a had a awakening like that, but, i do know what you are talking about.

it is quite a common theme in many beliefs, that everything is one, which would also make sense as well.

can be a good meditation as well to ponder on.

Well, I felt something similar to that - just knowing and being connected to everything - but it pretty quickly snapped shut.

For me it wasn't a oneness either. I could just feel everything and had the impression that if I put my mind to it I could change anything I wanted with a snap of my fingers. Thankfully that feeling went away

I think I know what you are describing.
Here’s something I wrote on another forum 3 or 4 years ago as I started trying to figure out what this is.
I’ve learned a lot since then.

It is an intense feeling of consciousness, I guess. In fact it is like really waking up, even though I'm already awake.
I can be anywhere, and if I'm relaxed and not having to interact with anyone and not distracted, I can
get this intense awareness, and I find myself thinking "I'm here, right now". And every time I do that,
time slows down more and more. I get an intense awareness or realization and it kind of accelerates.
It is like I had been in a dream but I am now awake.
I can see everything. Understand everything.
It only lasts a few seconds at a time, but it is an awesome, exciting feeling.

That's pretty similar to what I felt, but I try to live that way each day. Sadly, I lose it quickly because of my ego and thoughts. It feels incredibly hard to keep that train of thought, even though I know "that train of thought" is always there. This hinders my spirituality somewhat, needless to say. Deity becomes hard to connect with when I have racing thoughts and the egoistic mind speaking to me.

Yes, it is tough to silence the constant conversations we have going on in our heads while awake.
It’s the way we’re wired today.
With practice you’ll get better at quieting down these thoughts, and it will be rewarding!

I have experienced something like that, but it's hard to put into any words. I think the gods and goddesses are all united in a oneness, but the closest I've ever come to seeing a god like that is seeing Sekhmet as a female emination of Ra.

Speaking of Ra, he brought himself known to me last night. I did a meditation, using a candle, on Deity last night, but I wasn't getting much. Before I decided to quit, something told me to stay put and keep on for just a little bit longer. About five or ten minutes after that I saw something that looked like a cone and a perfectly round eyeball.

I looked up the meanings of each, bringing me to the Evil Eye, which lead me to Ma'at, who lead me to Ra and the Eye of Horus, or the Eye of Ra. I've been researching all day, but don't really know what to make of this except Ra showing himself to me. What do I do now?

Pray? Offerings? Offerings are a good way to further invite one of the names into your life from my experience if you want them invited
