I was a bit disapointed by the Immortals. Especially when Gods are that easy to kill. I thought it could have been so much better.

Which brings us to of Clash of the Titans. Pretty, but not terribly accurate, and true of both versions of the film. Harryhausen's Medusa is still creepy-cool though.

Love the original, the remake and the sequal to the remake not so much.

Yeah, the remake just had better effects and less story.
Didn't even bother with the sequel. It looked like video game promo to me.

Staying with the Greek theme I recommend the movie Ifigeneia (Iphigenia) (1977) I've seen it in Greek and Spanish with English sub-titles. Doesn't hold strickly to the story but a good rendition anyway worth the viewing.

Have to concur with that assesment. I struggled through the movie and was disappointed at the end.

Well, if we're going there, then by all means The Trojan Women.

I know most people were disappointed with Immortals. I loved it. I think it mostly just befuddled peoples' expectations. It was impossible to market properly. As for the gods dying too easily, bear in mind that it was only in the battle between the Olympians and the Titans.
