Favorite Tea?
What is your favorite kind of tea?
If I had to go with store bought, I would have to say Bedtime (produced my Yogi Tea). It can be calming in the evening or energizing/focusing in the afternoon depending on what you need it for. Plus it just tastes great! :D
If we have enough of it, though, I love to just steep fresh mint leaves in hot water. It so fresh and cleansing

Re: Favorite Tea?
While I have to have coffee every morning, tea is definitely high on my list of good things in life.
Yogi's Bedtime tea is indeed wonderful stuff that tastes as good as it smells. I can't say that I ever find it energizing, though. I'm sensitive enough to the sedating effects of valerian that a cup is enough to make me fairly drowsy.
My favorite herbal tea is what we refer to as the 'Garden Cup' - fresh herbs and flowers from the garden steeped together. I'm partial to a blend of fresh chamomile, lemon balm, a leaf of peppermint, and just a tiny bit of stevia for sweetness.
Mighty Leaf makes most of my preferred massed-produced teas. Their Earl Grey, Citrus Chamomile, and Spring Jasmine are standard items on my tea shelf. For green tea, my absolute favorite is one called Jasmine Pearl that I found at Teaism a few years back. Expensive stuff, but really delicious.Into the Grey Mists (Spiritual Blog)

Re: Favorite Tea?
I love tea too. It's difficult to say which is best since each has a way of being the best while you're drinking it.

I like getting herbs and blending my own, but I am still working on the perfect blend. That's a slow but enjoyable process.
I like an oolong in the morning while getting ready for work & a darjeeling around coffee break time. Chai in the winter on a break is a real treat. Not often, but every once in a while rainbow rooibos hits the spot.
In summer I use the eleuthero ginseng and some St. Dalfour organic flavored tea (peach or strawberry usually) and make a gallon in the sun. That goes mighty fast!

Re: Favorite Tea?
Bit of a tea fanatic, I'm afraid. I'm hopelessly addicted to Lapsang Souchong, but I love a good, spiced chai (especially if it's got lots of black pepper), hojicha, and jasmine green tea. Also a big fan of herbal tissanes. Plain old peppermint is a staple, but I love it spiked with fresh or dried ginger, both hot and iced. Chamomile is nice and relaxing. I enjoy it in the summer on our few truly warm days.
