But I am kind of distrusting when it comes to new online sources and the fact this shop is German makes me uneasy (for language reasons, even if the site offers translations)... most of clients reviews are in German, so I am afraid that international shipping would not be safe... anyone here can vouch pro or against it?
I can now vouch for this site. Shipment was wonderfully FAST, and I received my wonderfully done figurines just today.

    Yay! Glad to hear this.

There are a few other items I eyed, and I cannot wait until I can spare enough money to get my hands on them.

Hekate's figurine has this smokey kind of colors that don't get through the photos but make it so much more attention-commanding when you set it on your altar. Although her sternum-shoulderblades triangle is pale in a way that had me thinking that it was a defect of fabrication... but if you pay better attention to pictures, the model is crafted this way:

I wonder about the meaning of this particular detail for the author.

I think this is because the figurines are made from the paintings. And in the painting this is more like just a highlighted area.

Oh, it makes sense... i had not even considered that.

This is one of the rare cases where statues manage to be more expressive than paintings. Those wild dogs flanking her? they look really scary up close? Whole the wolfey-about-attacking motion is perfectly captured.

Oh, right now I am so enthusiastic that I would be able to order Morrigan's figurine right away, because if I already love that painting madly, I'll probably adore the figurine.
Alas, I must learn moderation, one pout at time.

I have the card of that painting, so I know.

I have also browsed in that shop, and have it added in my links I think, the shop itself is an e-trusted shop. You can see this label on the right?

That is usually a good reference.

The people reviewing, were usually pretty happy with the way the shop handled things and the shipping was quick. If you want to know something in specific, I can translate things to you.

(They send to your country, it is 11.90 Euro for shipping, and you can pay with credit card, paypal or payment in advance.)
    No, nothing showed up.

I'm very glad your happy with it and all but I have to admit I can't look at that and see Hekate / Hecate in it at all. When I look all I see is a poor imitation of Lily Munster from the old sitcom The Munsters. The streak in the hair and even the garment is nearly the same. With the alabaster skin and deathly complexion the only thing missing to fill the picture is her fangs.

But I admit I find very few current artistic expressions of Hekate / Hecate to be reflective of how I see her. I suppose I am more of a historical nut and prefer the archiac style representations of her.

Please don't take this as a slam against you or the pleasure the statuary piece gives you. It's just a comment on how it touches me.

Don't worry, I don't take it personally- if anything I recognize i have the opposite problem. As Hekate most of time came as a pale woman dressed like a goth to me, it's hard for me to connect with statuary where She appears in more 'traditional' guises. Also, even if pictures don't show that, the figurine has those very dark eyes that connect me to my first vision of Her with burning, coal-like eyes.

    It's all in personal experience.
