Many Strange Electronic malfunctions: house spirits at work?

I know, I know the title sounds quite... overdramatic?

Every electronic device I had in last 3 years had a short life and met a rather unlikely end (really, you wouldn’t believe the nember of cells I changed and various misfunctionings that affected my TWO computers). I started getting suspicious when my iphone and lap-top and ipod all during the same lucky week 'manifested' similiar battery malfunctions… to not mention once I sent my computer back to my parents house so it could repaired, my father assured me that although he left the thing turned on whole the day, the computer never went in overheating mode like it started doing right away when it was back to my apartment.

Since mundane explanations no longer cut it out, I started suspecting maybe Hermes could have something to do with that, but now I know Him better that does not really sounds like his modus operandi … plus, the problems seem more or less linked to the apartment in itself…at this point, I feel I should at least consider if some kind of house spirit is involved?

I remember reading something on some types of faes and how they love take electronic devices apart, but I never really approached the Faery Folk so I don't really know how I would go about testing this theory or how to put an end to this situation.

I feel like I should add that used to be able to occasionally see Faeries auras around the house in past, but it has been at least two years since it has ever occurred to me.

To me it sounds like bad wiring in the apartment. Bad grounding or surges or something like that.

Particularly since the 'odd happenings' are all electrical in nature and only happen with in the apartment. House spirits would probably be doing things like stealing shiny objects or chasing the cat.

I'm on my third new personal laptop since August.....

My work laptop won't turn itself off - if I try to it will restart itself spontaneously. I've actually captured that one on my camera phone as the IT dept didn't believe me.

I've been unable to wear a watch for as long as I can remember; they last about 3 weeks on average and I have to replace household appliances fairly frequently. Other small electricals camera/phones/MP3 players also don't work 100% around me. The batteries will discharge spontaneously and they don't last that long.

My theory is that being a witch and energy worker I am unconsciously affecting energy patterns around me. The watch thing is fairly common amongst witches I know in real life - I don't think any of them wear one either but the killing of laptops is getting embarrassing.

Well, I'm inclined to agree with Fierfly on the possibility of bad wiring, particularly if you don't have problems with the equipment elsewhere. Not something I'd ignore, since bad wiring is potentially a huge hazard.

That said, if you truly believe that it's something paranormal that's causing the problems, performing a simple banishing should be enough to clear out anything that might be there.

I don’t think the electrical wiring is a possible explanation, because about the only things affected by those ‘problems’ are cellphones, computers and the ipod (whereasTV and normal phone are okay same for the fridge and oven and everything else)… also last year my cellphones and computer had all kinds of constantly different problems (repair guy still laughs in my face when we cross paths, he says my luck with computers is unique)… just around last couple of months my computer and iphone started having issues with overheating and then the ipod had its battery burned out. Again the overheating/battery issues appeared within the same week.

Everything else works perfectly (I realize above i kinda invited misunderstanding with the 'every electronic device' choosing of words- excuse my lack of foresight here).

Add in that when I had just moved in the house the cellphone line would suddenly drop or had interferences when you moved from a room to the other. Back to then, I was able to occasionally spot fairies around the apartment (well, it was more like seeing the auras around tiny and moving human figures)… then I stopped seeing them, the interference problems stopped, and the problems with electronical devices started. At first the malfuctionings were separated by wider stretches of time, then those stretches became shorter.

There's stuff that goes missing from time to time in the house, but that might simply be because I am a naturally distracted person.

My last computer might be defective by fabrication - it opened on a corner without being bumped anywhere: it was just sitting on my knees and then two screws got loosened with a soft rumour and fell down on the floor ... the second one two hours after the other.

And this before the overheating issues that were contemporary to the overheating of iphod and iphone. The timing of it all is at least a bit suspicious.

I did use to joke to my brother of my sudden becoming like a walking poltergheist.

I drain batteries and screw up programming of electronics that are in close proximity to me. I can't wear a watch for more than a day or two and when I was little I'd regularly futz up the remote control's programming just by sitting next to it. My dad does the same thing, so we're thinking it might be hereditary. Lithium-ion batteries seem to hold up pretty well against it, though, so I'm not sure if you're doing the same thing I do (laptop batteries being lithium ion, more often than not.)

It is getting to be a bit of a joke here too! I don't carry my phone in my pocket and try and stay as far away as I can from anything electonic.

I am pretty sure it is some sort of energy thing rather than anything else. My work lap top for example misbehaves in the office as well as at home. The common factor is just me, not the location.

If this explanation was appliable to my case, I might assume that lately malfunctions became more pronounced because it's has been an increasingly stressfull time of my life.

Divination might clear my head here.
