Good question, I've heard of a few celebrating it on the 4th which I think had something to do with that archaeoastronomy earth clock? http://www.archaeoastronomy.com/
Personally thinking of Imbolg astrologically doesn't work for me, as it's more seasonal. I could even understand an earlier date in January than later in February, but whatever works. Traditionally the festival would have been a few days long, based more around the lunar cycle and the birth of lambs, which have already been running around Ireland's fields....
Well on that note, Imbolg blessings to those with festivities to come!
