I'm right there with you.

I haven't had time to work on anything from my list. I've been too busy dealing with family stuff to get anything done. Except stopping smoking. I'm doing surprisingly well with that considering all of the crazy going on. I'm still calling it a work in progress, but at least I've made some progress.

I know how smokers are, when they are put under stress.
Saw it with my mom, with friends - so I think it is really great, that you keep up.

Decided I should pop in here - this is my list for March

Mundania

• Finish a scale model - my one truly mundane vice
• Read 5 fun books - got 4 on my Palm now - partially through two of them already
• Clean the basement - it's a disaster - haven't really touched it since fall
• Plan veggie garden - working to become more self-sufficient

Physical

• Get better with my exercise - been slacking lately though I am down 2 lbs since Jan 1 - 6'1.5"/188lb currently - just have to work to shift the "middle age spread" someplace else
• Work on cutting back the smoking - 40+ year habit is NOT easy to drop

Magickal

• Design new shine/altar - this will also have to be built at some future point
• One blog entry - I got a new rant/response just over half finished
• Work on sewing up new kilt - I got enough green/black tartan for a great-kilt, but I'm gonna cheat and have the pleats sewn in place
• Plan herb garden - Lavender, Lemon Balm and Rosemary plus the Wild Rose already growing out back - it's a start

December 2011

1. Finish cleaning and re-organizing house (bleeds into January; finish before start of classes).
2. Bellica ebook finished and uploaded.

January 2012

3. First day of class: get registered in self-directed courses.
4. Buy books first week, get started on assignments, etc.
5. WIZARDING. WORLD.
6. Let back heal.

February 2012

7. Learn lines for Dog Meets God. Start work on costumes and props for character.
8. Assignments done. Fail.
9. Make it back home.
10. Start work on Jade Star of Athering again.
11. Do some publishing and editing work.
12. Do website for mom and self as mother-daughter author team.
13. Look into joining a few conventions as guests. -- Looked into it; decided to wait until next year.
14. Let back heal some more.

March [1st -19th] 2012

15. Finish outlining and background work for Jade Star.
16. Awesome show, awesome costume, awesome props.
17. Keep up with daily practice schedule.
18. Find a way, come hell or high water, to go to SMF. For [bleep]'s sake.

01. Read at least 1 book. In progress- working on Kiya's Guide to the Duat!
Goals 2-4 are moving over to season 2, still for the month of March!
05. Write! In progress! Not as much progress as I'd like, but better than nothing.

If I manage these last two- which I think I should be able to manage- I'll at least have a 50% success rate, which is better than the last few seasons.

Physical Fitness

1. Keep up the exercise = visiting the gym twice a week. - Hiatus for two months - out of mere self-preservation, I'll go again next week. Better than sitting alone in the house the whole day. But for now, calling this a fail seems correct.
2. Keep up the mainly vegetarian food/cooking style.
3. Keep up the discipline of no sweet soda/sweets in general. - *snorts*

Household
4. Try to keep the chaos at bay. At least a bit? - Amazingly, this seems to work... color me stunned.

Writer
5. Get the lazy butt up and edit the damned story! For the interim goal let's say: three chapters. - totally misjudged the state of the manuscript and the amount of work that it will need to be called kinda finished... *hits self on the back of the head - can you say *FAIL*?
6. Reading at least five books from the pile stacked up in the shelf. - I will manage this - only a few chapters left!

Witchy
7. Participating in the Pagan Blog Project - it's working, so I say accomplished
8. Start the big Journal with at least three entries. - I can manage this, too.
9. Make some holy water. - I won't get that done. Will transfer it to next season.
