Re: Christmas wasn't stolen from the pagans
And I think she's teaching at the local junior college too. She lives in my hometown, my father attended one of the high schools that she school boards for. I googled her on the local newspaper and it's quite informative. Not surprising she doesn't have time to hang around here. Makes me feel like a total piker with 4 kids, a full time job, and a scout troop.

Re: Christmas wasn't stolen from the pagans
Oh yes, she often talks about students who expect high grades for no effort on FB. She makes us ALL look like goof-offs. Of course, she managed to do that while she was here as well getting her Masters in Theology and going to law school at the same time -- and posting a lot here.

Re: Christmas wasn't stolen from the pagans
I just think we need to have this someplace easy to find for whenever someone starts going on about how all the christmas customs were stolen from the pagans. I think this has always been a yearly thing, probably twice or thrice yearly since there's easter and halloween, so this post is useful and always relevant.
MAybe we could add the extra sources. Hutton's good on the folklore, I know others know a lot of them.Katrina
