Oh yeah... for those reading this, you might encounter spoilers.

With the guy, the best I could figure was that he was supposed to be a pagan/Christian sacrifice, a little bit of Jesus and some agrarian archetype. They did that with the guy in the first film, he was a pure 'sacrifical lamb,' not unlike a certain other sacrificial Lamb (who dies that others may live). Clever parallel symbolism.
Maybe ritual cannibalism as some 'living' communion? I dunno. I can see it, sort of, but still... not quite clever enough. I think the power plant thing was just there as a shortcut to 'explain' the infertility in the cult. It was interesting that the guy with the wicked goatee was not a true believer in the 'religion of the Celts'. (I'm no expert, but I didn't see much Celtic religion, did you?) Of all the actors however, he was the best.

And I have no idea what the hell was up with the stuffed May Queens. Weird.

Yeah I didn't see really anything other than the name of the Goddess that dealt with Celtic Religion. They never really got into that and just seemed to be running to fast through the movie to really give the concepts of why they were doing what they were doing. In the Original they at least gave you the concepts of how their religion worked. And on a lighter note, ya know us Celtic Pagans love stuffing people to have sitting around our house! lol
