Re: TWS: Project Montoring Thread
That would be great except that I'm still on the first chapter. *humble toe nudge* I've been doing it sparingly because I'm (A) taking notes while I go, (B) walking like a fiend for health reasons and (C) doing a thousand Tarot reasons at once.
I'll have answers no later than tomorrow morning?Religious Blog

'You had to repay, good or bad. There was more than one type of obligation.
That’s what people never really understood.….Things had to balance.
You couldn’t set out to be a good witch or a bad witch. It never worked out for long.
All you could try to be was a witch, as hard as you could.'

Re: TWS: Project Montoring Thread
One thing is the importance of creating sacred space and how that setting aside of time and physical manifestation can be a way to bring the spirit world closer, or more accurately to recognize the spirit world and the transcendence that we can access at any time if we so choose.
I think that the exercises and the element path will be a good way to bring to nurture and to own those spiritual inclinations. And a way to give them more prominence and not keep shoving them under the rug. Spirituality (on a personal level) often gets demoted in my life because I tend to feel like it is selfish and self-centered. I also get confused and think myself into a metaphysical corner at times. I am hoping that by externalizing this work and giving myself a concrete task to do that will cut down on the confusion and anxiety I sometimes have about spirituality.2. How does the material relate to your specific needs?
3. What material in the chapter do you want to focus on?
the elements path, adapted to the Jewish home.

Re: TWS: Project Montoring Thread
Okay, I have the following people participating. Anyone else is welcome to join at any time.
Morag - Elements path
Fier - Elements path
SatSekem - ??
Sperran - Elements path
Waldhexe - Elements/Inner paths
Juni - ??
Next I think we should each think about specific work we want to do for the first chapter and set a tentative deadline after which we will move on to the next chapter.
Post your suggestions for a soft deadline (we can review it when it comes and see how we're all doing) in this thread. Post your goals for the first chapter in the first chapter thread. (You can read mine there already.)"If you believe in love you're always alive" -- Our Lady Peace

Re: TWS: Project Montoring Thread
I see two messages here:
- The creation of sacred space to commune with the Divine. Even if one doesn't use the methods listed in the book, taking the time to create sacred space helps shift mindset from the mundane to the spectacular.
- Although we're not responsible for all of the mess in the world, we are responsible for fixing what we can.
I'm in a back-to-basics mode right now, based on some Mystery that I ran into head-first. The material will, I think, help me put things into perspective.2. How does the material relate to your specific needs?
