Goddess chant mp3?
I am looking for some pagan type music for my ipod.
I really love this on youtube:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BDSu0...ure=plpp_video
I tried looking for it online but I can't find the name or any mp3 of it.
Anyone know the name of it or where I can find it?

Re: Goddess chant mp3?
It's a pretty standard chant. There are a lot of versions of it on Youtube (search term 'goddess chant'). Try finding one you like, copying the URL, and taking it to this site:
http://www.listentoyoutube.com/
It will separate the Mp3 file for you and you can download it to your computer.

Re: Goddess chant mp3?
Interestingly enough, while it's the same words as the ones I know, it's a different melody than the one I know, and a slightly different emphasis/rhythm.
The version I know can be heard here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fZcQzjlojD8
The lyrics for the goddess version were written by Caitlin Mullen and Deena Metzger, according to Julie Forest Middleton's _Songs for Earthlings_ collection. It's on one of the Reclaiming chant CDs, and this version of the chant is also used for Charlie Murphy's "Burning Times" song.
There are also a number of God name versions: these seem to be largely regional. (The one I learned is "Pan, Herne, Osiris, Priapus, Baal, Dionysus, Apollo, Lugh", but I've seen at least three others, and at least one more beyond that that's clearly trying to do the same thing, but that I can't make scan to the melody.)
Oral tradition stuff is fascinating.
