Re: Tricks or Treats
I do so love that cartoon. Fell in love with it again when I brought the DVD home this season.
My son would ask for the DVD thus: somethingsomething Puuunkin... somethingsomething Puuuuunkin. Cuter than anything I'd ever expected to hear.
Moving on... this Hallows eve was quite satisfying for us. The Boy wore his garden gnome outfit, but the baby Girl wore the hat & beard. I didn't count the number of kids, all I know was that we gave away 2 bags' worth of candy. This is our first year in the new house, and I didn't know what to expect, so I was pleased.
I was only pissed once, when one pack ofmaggotslittle darlings walked across my lawn. Grrrr....
After all the fesivities had ceased, and the wife & cubs had gone off to bed, I settled into my big leather man chair with a warm bowl of colcannon and a tall cold brew. Watched Hang 'em High on blu-ray. Great way to end the night.
