I'm VERY surprised more people don't have Demeter. But eh, I guess I shouldn't say that because some of the time it's not even a choice. ("You know that dame/guy you though was your patron deity? Nope.") Her name grabbed my by the eyeballs years ago and has never let up, even when I had a falling out with the faith.

When I was studying/practising Heathenism, I insisted on worshipping Loki because his rebellious, trickster nature appealed to me - rather than because he called me or was any kind of genuine patron. Even so, I felt quite alone as a Lokean, as most of the Asatruar saw him as a Jotunn and therefore had as little to do with him as possible.
