    Fall Equinox

I am endeavoring to re-write an Irish group ADF ritual from the 2007 liturgist's yearbook for my observation next week. Bit crunched for time but I'm determined and I'm sure the Kindreds will be understanding :D

Is anyone else doing anything for the Equinox?

Thought I would add this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uvjfWmh--3M it is a simple solitary shrine ritual following the ADF Core Order of Ritual for anyone who, like me, hasn't had a real chance to observe or participate one in person. Very helpful!

My group and I are celebrating Mabon at the local college. We plan to follow a modified version of the ritual given in _The Solitary Druid_ by Rev. Skip Ellison and to focus on the Germanic Hearth Culture (our group is Celtic/Germanic).

I love the ADF videos on Youtube. They are indeed very helpful. As a matter of fact, the Roman Rite was a big confidence boost for me for my first rite.

Me too! They're so great, I mean, it's one thing to *read* about doing the ritual especially the solitary stuff but so much better to watch someone perform one :D

Agreed. I think actually seeing it gives a better sense of confidence, because you might not really be sure what the book is trying to say. Usually you can't dispute too much if you have a visual.

If you are ever in Western MD, we'd love to have you.
